Simpson Fine Art Prints
Jim & Jamie Simpson are father and son and have been exhibiting together
since Jamie graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1999.
Both artists specialise in producing a high standard of contemporary Scottish
landscape drawings and paintings notably including their stylish range
of urban night scenes.
Known for their vibrant use of colour and their crisp approach to their
subjects their painting has received much popular acclaim. Their work
is executed predominantly in soft artist’s pastel although they also enjoy
the challenges offered by a wider variety of media including watercolour
and oil. Click here

of limited edition prints.
A busy pair, Jim and Jamie now spend the greater part of the year working on new original
paintings for exhibition.
Having spent seven rewarding years showing at
Livingston Designer Outlet
their stall there has now closed and they will now exhibit the prints of their work on a seasonal basis in order to devote more time to working from their respective studios. They plan to return to
Livingston Designer Outlet in West Lothian in the autumn this year
with their full selection of Scottish landscape prints.
Mackinnon
Mills in Coatbridge close to Glasgow is currently the only venue where
you will find their complete selection of prints available for
sale (Framed or unframed) all year round, Please click on a link or see
the map to your right for more information on how to find either venue.
Jamie hopes that he will again be involved in this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe and will also be participating in this year's St Enochs Christmas Market towards the end of the year where you will be able to find him displaying their work for sale in the market on St Enoch Square, Glasgow.
